Sculpture materials are divided into hard materials and soft materials. Hard materials are subdivided into decorative materials, road materials, rock materials, paving materials, waterscape materials; soft materials are mainly plant materials, which are divided into climbing aids, ground cover, colored leaves, perennial herbs, and ornamental plants. Hard materials are basically a single molecular structure, and combination with other types of materials is only a simple superposition of materials. Fiberglass sculpture materials are essentially different from hard materials. It can be listed as the third type of material: Fiberglass composite.
Fiberglass sculpture material is a new type of material developed in foreign countries in the early 20th century. It has the characteristics of lightweight, high strength, anti-corrosion, heat preservation, easy forming, easy coloring, and long life. Its density is 1.5 ~ 2.0g / cm3, 3 to 4 times lighter than steel, and the specific strength is 1.7 times higher than steel, good mechanical and physical properties.
The Fiberglass sculpture material is composed of a high-color surface layer, strength layer, support layer, and strength layer. It contains advanced high-strength materials, high-performance polymers, metal frame materials, and other materials. Among them, the high-color surface layer is added with ultraviolet absorber, and the QUV artificial aging test can reach 1000 hours, which is equivalent to aging for 10 years in the natural environment. Using a high weathering coating, the coating life can reach 20 years, the color retention rate is not less than 90% within 10 years, and the color difference E is not more than 4%. The support layer and the strength layer play a decisive role in the mechanical properties of the reinforcing material.
The material is protected from deformation under the conditions of a large span, heavy load and shock, and impact resistance, which effectively improves the reliability of the material. The use of special resins also makes the material itself flame-retardant and fire-resistant.
