(1) Apply the Fiberglass mixed slurry to the wax type in the same manner as the method of turning the Fiberglass mold to have a sufficient thickness. Note that when applying the first layer of slurry on the wax surface, use fine silica powder or use the manufacturer’s prepared surface layer Fiberglass slurry to ensure the surface of the casting is more delicate.
(2) After applying a thickness of about 4 cm, it is welded with a spread type and reinforced with a steel structure. If the volume of the sculpture is small, it can be reinforced with a wire mesh bent into a cylindrical sleeve on the outside of the Fiberglass coating.
(3) Continue to apply the slurry to the inside of the welded steel structure or the cylindrical metal mesh until the total thickness is 6-8cm, and the wax type with a small volume can be applied to such a thickness. For larger wax types, the thickness of the application will increase.
