As a professional sculpting company, Boyao uses a hand lay-up molding method in the production of Fiberglass sculpture cylinders. Before production, the design idea is to assemble some lay-up products from one end. After a part is cured, the combined mold is continued to paste.

Combine as many unit blocks as possible at one time. Finally, a unit block is left. The unit block is pre-formed and glued to the overall sculpture.

The hard-to-make parts of the sculpture can be made into rough shapes with corresponding metal materials, and then glass fiber reinforced plastic is formed on the materials, and then trimmed out by grinding. The shape of the sculpture is relatively complicated and should be treated specially.

Difficult places should be filled with resin first, then glass fiber and gingham. The length of the resin putty for the surface layer is preferably 10 millimeters. When molding, the metal skeleton is buried in the sculpture. Increase the stiffness and strength of the sculpture, increase its service life, and finally install it with a metal skeleton.

(1) Formwork Fiberglass cylindrical formwork is made of high-strength resin, alkali-free glass fiber adhesive, carbon fiber fabric bonding material, and profile steel as the reinforcing skeleton.

A cylindrical mold with a diameter of less than 1m can be made into a complete circle; a cylindrical mold with a diameter of more than 1.5m should be made into a combined mold with more than two pieces. The template length is generally 3-4m. Before the formwork is processed, the thickness of the Fiberglass formwork should be determined by calculation based on the side pressure of the concrete, which is generally 3-4mm.

Too thick thickness is not conducive to the formation of concrete columns, too thin thickness will affect the number of times the formwork is used. The height of the formwork should be 20 ~ 30cm higher than the height of the concrete column. It is considered that the section of the template will expand and deform after bearing the side pressure. Therefore, the diameter of the template should be slightly smaller than the diameter of the column, which is generally 99.4% of the diameter of the column.

At the interface of the template, the solution steel with a limb width of 6 ~ 8cm and a thickness of 5 ~ 8mm is usually used, but the strength of the angle steel is not too ideal, so the sculpture factory uses channel steel (60 * 30 * 3mm) instead of angle steel. The channel steel and the inner side of the template must be guaranteed to be 90 ° C, and the channel steel on both sides of the interface must be straight to ensure that the template joints are tight. Drill bolt holes in the channel steel for docking. The screw holes require 150 ± 5mm.

(2) The quality requirements and standards for the production of Fiberglass sculpture columns are as follows:

① Fiberglass sculpture cylinder must be made with good toughness and abrasion resistance to make the template easy to form and increase the number of uses.

② The glass fiber reinforced plastic sculpture cylinder must be made with good alkali and corrosion resistance to prevent corrosion during use.

③ Resin shall be applied evenly at all levels of the template, glass fiber cloth shall not be exposed, and it shall be smooth, free of micro-holes and no grain.

④ The channel steel is firmly connected to the template, and the arc of the interface is smooth.
